Easy Peasy Chocolate Microwave Cake (the fluffiest ever)



In the last few years I have tried lots of microwave cakes! Sometimes just in a mug, sometimes a full sized one. Some of them were ok, some were inedible!
Now after such a long time of trying I can finally announce that I have found THE most perfect, fluffiest and moistest Chocolate Microwave Cake ever!

Within 20 minutes (including prepping and cooling and decorating) you have an amazing dessert on the table, that no one will guess it’s made in the microwave! Simply perfect for lazy moments or last minute desserts :)

Bring your own twist to it, use your favorite frosting, change the candy on top … Simply have fun!

What you need
  • The Cake:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk, skim
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • The Frosting:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon instant vanilla pudding powder
  • Also:
  • ½ cup candy of your choice
How you make it
  1. In a large bowl bring together all cake ingredients and mix until just combined
  2. Pour batter into a 8 inch microwave safe dish
  3. Microwave on high for 4 - 4,5 minutes
  4. Dump cake out of the form on a big plate and place in fridge
  5. Now beat the heavy cream and vanilla pudding powder until really stiff
  6. Spread on half-way cooled cake
  7. Top with candy of your choice and serve :)
