i love you brownies
Isn't this a lovely but easy way to say "I love you"?! Not just for Valentines Day, but for any other day of the year too :)

A super moist brownie that uses no oil or butter, only Biscoff spread (or peanut butter, if you don't mind a nuttier taste), cocoa powder instead of chocolate and whole wheat flour!
For the chocolate on top I love to take some cookies&cream chocolate, but normal white chocolate would also work fine. Sprinkles or not, you decide!

If you don't like this healthier version of a brownie, please feel free to use your favorite recipe, this is just an idea :)

What you need

4 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup Biscoff spread (can substitute with peanut butter)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup cocoa powder
A pinch of salt
4 ounces cookies and cream chocolate bar (or white, or milk chocolate)
Pink sprinkles
How you make it

Use a spatula for the whole batter mix up, no electric mixer, no whisk!

  • Preheat your oven to 350 F
  • Line a brownie pan with parchment paper
  • In a large bowl bring together eggs and brown sugar and fold together with your spatula until just combined
  • Add softened Biscoff and vanilla and fold together until smooth without bringing too much air into it
  • Add flour cocoa and salt
  • Fold in until just combined
  • Spread the dough into brownie pan and bake for 20 minutes
  • Once completely cooled take a heart shaped cookie cutter and press it slightly into the cake
  • Melt chocolate in the microwave and pour 1 tablespoon into cookie cutter, take cookie cutter out of the brownie (gently) and go on like that until every piece of your brownies has a heart
  • Sprinkle pink sugar on chocolate while still warm
  • Wait until chocolate is set before serving
