This post is going to be written exactly how I think and feel it. That means, I won't use nice words, when I don't feel like it and I won't delete thing, just because there might be people offended by it or disagreeing!
So that you understand why I am writing this, you have to know that about two years ago I was 45 pounds heavier. Then I lost those 45 pounds within 15 months and am staying on it since then. It has been an up and down my whole life. I have never been only skinny or fat. One year I'm skinny, the other year maybe not so much. Who the hell cares?! I felt and still feel good either way!
The picture one the right was taken just about exactly two years ago. My face is round, my legs maybe not the skinniest ones and my booty - well, you see that yourself ;) Sure, I didn't look like it is expected according to the standard, the media shows you period, but I felt good, I felt pretty and hell yeah I felt sexy! When people called me fat, I asked my friends and family, if I maybe don't see right, because I would have never called myself fat, looking like that. The only answer I always got was: "No, you're not fat, you just have curves". Hmm, probably the nice way of letting me know, I had a few pounds too much. I would have never thought so tho until I started loosing weight and everyone telling me how good I look now that I lost some.
In the beginning this sounds nice, but after awhile I started questioning why they would say it like that. Didn't I look good before too? They always told me I did, so why making such a big deal now out of a few pounds lost ?!
| My weight loss journey just started at that moment. And no, I wasn't on a diet, I just started moving more - riding the bike in summer and going to the gym 30 minutes a day! As the pounds dropped, the response to it from friends and family changed. Suddenly it was a bad thing to loose weight. I was asked if I was sick, if I don't eat, if I have stress or depression, a eating disorder ... The "oh, you look so good" turned into things like "you should stop loosing weight now, you look too skinny, you should see a doctor, please tell me if you have problems". The only problem I had was people obsessing about MY weight, MY body and MY lifestyle. It is not my damn fault, they are too lazy to go work out, change their eating habits, or them having some self esteem issues. All I know is, I was annoyed, and I still am, because it doesn't come to an end. Every picture I uploaded on Facebook, I got mails, asking me, if I am really ok. I hate hearing, I'm bony, because I am not! I am skinny, but until boney is still a long way. Also should no one forget that I got pregnant with 14 and gained more than 60 pounds while I was pregnant, of which I kept the last 15 until I started loosing weight. So you can pretty much say, I am back now to how I was before pregnancy again!
| | Well, anyway, my question now is, if I would gain weight again, how would people react?! I can tell you: First they would say something about how nice it is too see that I "eat again". After a few gained pounds more, they would ask me for stress, depression and of course, if I am pregnant! So either way - loosing or gaining - people will always have to turn it into something bad!
This is exactly how young girls get pushed into eating disorders. The first factor is the media. Commercials, TV shows, stars, where ever you look, you see those hungry skinny girls. This is what the media makes us think, is perfect! No muscles, no fat. That's wrong! I have always had great success with men, skinny or not. You know why?! Because I have an amazing personality! You can be as skinny or stereo type as you want, if your personality sucks, you won't get too far! Self esteem, great personality and a positive attitude towards life is what makes you hot!
The second factor of girls getting all crazy about their weight are friends and family. Our loved ones might not even notice it, but with always having an opinion on how we should or shouldn't look, they drive you insane. So let people be however they want. As long as it is not bringing their health in danger, they should be allowed to walk around however they want. If you don't like it, don't call yourself a friend! I do not say, that you should shut up, if there is obvious signs of someone having health issues! Please don't get me wrong. But even in that case, talking to that person won't help. You have to help that person behind their back, because they won't admit, they have a problem and the more you push them, the more they will close up!
With this being said, I think we should all stay exactly how we are and how we like ourselves! You have some pounds too much, I don't care, you are still my friend! You want to loose weight, stay skinny or even gain weight?! Go ahead, if you need my advice ask me for it, otherwise I will let you do your thing and still love you as when you had more/less!

Whipping cream can be a pain in the butt. It takes several minutes any many people have serious problems with getting it really stiff. I'm the master of stiff whipped cream.
