While my husband hates white chocolate, I am in love with it! I love the creaminess and super sweetness of it. A bar of it at my house won't survive an hour :) I wanted to bake something that features white chocolate and only white chocolate and these blondies definitely do so :)
Super fudgy and creamy, absolutely not cakey, every bite is sweet indulgence - simply pure decadence. The lemon juice reduces the sweetness a little bit or your mouth would be sticky after one bite haha. I enjoyed them with some cherry ice cream on top while they were still warm!

I made these healthier Peanut Butter Pecan Cups because I had to use up a few ingredients. The way I made them, you don't have to regret eating one. Coconut oil instead of butter, coconut palm sugar instead of brown sugar and I am most proud of the chocolate topping that has only 250 calories for the whole batch, but tastes so sinfully guilty :)

Of course you can substitute with more common ingredients, I have done that before too and it works fine!

Coconut Crack Bars
Have you ever had a look at Chocolate Covered Katies page?! She has some crazy good desserts there - and they are all healthy :)
I happened to buy way to much unsweetened coconut flakes (I thought 4lbs would be less haha), so I am in need of recipe that use quite a bit of it. These Coconut Crack Snack Bars live up to their name! Highly addicting!
The ingredients are thrown together in couple minutes and after an hour in the fridge you can snack it up :)
Well, I snacked them away in half an hour!

Today I am having a wonderful guest here - Cindy from Hun ... What's for Dinner?
Cindy is very special to me and she probably didn't even know it until now :)
When I started blogging, her blog was one of the first 5 I would follow and I am doing it ever since. I was, and still am, so inspired by her - she has such beautiful and delicious dishes and such a lovely way of writing ... I knew I wanted to run my blog like that too! So I am very thankful that she is giving me the honor today to guest post on my little page - with a extreme decadent dessert - YUM!

Hi, my name is Cindy and I am the author/creator of Hun... What's for Dinner? I've been blogging for almost 5 yrs and have loved every minute of it. I am a stay at home Mom (to two), and recently I've become a Pampered Chef Consultant, in Canada. I married a Chef thinking I had it made, but quickly found out that after working all day, the last thing my husband wanted to do coming home, was to cook for me. So, I took what little skills I had, started reading cookbooks and watching Food Network TV. Today I cook 98% of the meals in our house, and relatives call me for food advice, instead of my husband, LOL. I discovered Jutta's blog page on Facebook  almost a year ago and I've been following her ever since. I also take part in the Surprise Recipe Swap, which she's organized. When she mentioned she was looking for guest posters, I quickly offered to help.

coconut overload lara bites
I guess I have a serious addiction to Lara Bars. Well, not so much the store bought ones, but the homemade ones!
They're just too good and since I decide what is in them, how could I resist, of course I only put my favorites in there :)

These Coconut Overload Lara Bites are full of good nutrition - with unsweetened shredded coconut, nuts and dates you simply can't go wrong. I added my all-time favorite: chocolate PB2, but you can easily leave that out or substitute with cocoa powder.

I am officially addicted to PB2! This stuff changed my life. It's powdered peanut butter and has 85% less fat than regular PB! So it's perfect for a PB lover like me!
I am always craving something sweet after working out and these Protein PB2 Bars are one of my favorites to fix this craving right now. The recipe makes enough for my husband and me for a whole workout week (5 days, we rest 2 days).
You can leave them blank as you see it on the right or add some sprinkles, raw honey or more PB2 on top (on the left). They taste great, are full of nutrition and wit only one bar you will be absolutely satisfied!

Not too long ago I had my very first Larabar and fell in love with it. Looking for them at the store made me sick - they are ridiculously expensive! I refuse buying items that are so overpriced - I rather make them myself! This way I spend less money and know exactly what's in it!
There is nothing easier than Larabars. The Apple Cinnamon Larabars take 10 minutes to prepare (if you use store bought dried apples, I just prefer making them myself).
Ground some nuts, dry some apples (the microwave is your best friend for this) and chop some dates - everything mixed together makes a super delicious and healthy Larabar. I promise you will never go

chocolate peanut butter cup oat bars
Oh I created something evil! These Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Oat Bars are highly addicting and so far I have never managed to stop after one!

They are just too easy to make and combine three of the things I love the most.
Don't laugh about me now, but after I made them twice and ate them all in one hour (both times), I now wrap them in plastic wrap and beg my husband to hide them somewhere (and yes, I have been on the search for them, but he is just too good when it comes to hiding stuff) :)

butterscotch marshmallow snack bars
About 2 months ago, chocolate chips of any flavor were on sale (1 dollar for the big bag) and this hungry little girl couldn't resist and bought 20 bags (they are all gone by now)! I have never had butterscotch chips before, so I threw a couple bags in the shopping cart and was all excited, just to figure out I don't really like butterscotch :(
I had to come up with something that uses butterscotch chips, but not too many and combined with things I really really like. These Butterscotch Marshmallow Snack Bars are an amazing combo - butterscotch, but not overwhelming, sticky, crunchy, melting in yo

PictureFlourless Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies (Low Carb)
Six ingredients that you always have at home and about 30 minutes of your time is all it takes to get these amazingly delicious Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies!
Low in carbs since they are flourless, so they are perfect for a quick treat in between :)
There is also no other fat source used besides the peanut butter, so make sure to use the best peanut butter possible to make them even healthier!
They are so soft, but crunchy and full of flavors (of course, I mean look at the main ingredient haha) and after two cookies you are good to go until your next main meal! Definitely a healthy but delicious choice to fight those cravings in the afternoon!
